LOT of Sonny and Cher 1970s Magazine Clippings Collection in Vintage Dandy File

This is a very special item for the Sonny & Cher Enthusiast, fan of 1970's television entertainment, or even advertising from the 1970s.
Someone meticulously cut out and organized clippings from PEAK Sonny & Cher. Many of the clippings don't have dates on them but they are from the mid-to-late 1970s, midriff was bared, and sequins were plentiful. One of the magazines promotes DISCO BAGS! So that is the era we are talking about.
I did not take out and count each clipping because they are old and fragile. But each file divider has several articles cut from from People, Ladies' Home Journal, TV Guide and many celebrity zines that are no longer in print. Most of them are not available online since the many of the publications are long defunct. Some are color, some are B/W. Some are magazine paper and some are newspaper. Some long, some short. There are no full magazines - these are clippings.
In addition to Sonny and Cher, there are clippings about Ann-Margaret, Elvis, Liberace and Lee Majors.
But the vast majority of them are about Sonny & Cher!  A lot of features about Sonny & Cher and their family.
The mysterious thing about this file is that each section has piece of stationery taken from different hotels around Texas with the name of the artists in that section written on it. Why are there so many different hotels - high end ones at that? Was this person a fan who traveled a lot and made clippings to pass the time? Or did they get the stationery from a family member who was a traveling salesperson or what? They are not marked up like articles from services were, so I am certain a fan put this together.
The Dandy File box itself is in very good condition for its age, assuming it's a few years older than the clippings. The latch still works. It will look very handsome on your bookshelf.
This is a very special and unique collection and I hope that it finds it's way into the hands of someone who truly loves Sonny & Cher as much as the creator does.
